First heat set insert work with my 3d prints. Really simple, worked well for mounting a pcb to a fan blanking plate. Turns out I was off by maybe a mm (or two tops) on the distance between one set of holes. I need to go back and figure out exactly how I got the measurement off. That should probably wait until I get the project this is for tied up (replacing 120mm 24v axial fans with 140mm 5v case fans). #3dpriniting

I just passed a laboratory which has some #3DPrinters in it. There’s often something interesting to see in there but this figure of a #lion particularly caught my eye. The #mane was printed as an integral part of the whole. The technician told me that the material is a #starch-based #polymer calle #PLA or #PolylacticAcid.
