@KayleenGnwmythr I can't remember how many years ago it was, that Jason Akermanis said the AFL was nowhere near ready to embrace homosexuality. They still aren't. That Gillion Whatsisface says that the AFLW were fine to do it, but that they had 'safety in numbers' is just absurd - and sexist. They're 'girls, so it doesn't really count', is my best guess.
Is it the fans who would destroy any prominent AFL player coming out as gay, while still playing? If the CEO is correct, team mates seem fine with it. #4Corners will be interesting. #PlayGay

I see yet again the so called regulators in Australia are not fit for purpose. #4corners When will we see these organisations get the legislative, financial & personnel resources that is required to actually do their jobs.
