My sister went to the UK many years ago and brought back a magazine with a CD of then-new music. I had never heard of the bands, but one song stuck out above the rest: #4st7lb by #TheManicStreetPreachers. I still consider it to be an incredibly powerful, well-written song. To this day, I've never heard anything else like it.
