Needed a hike after the past weeks of heat and in the news. Oxley provides that place of and @Wonder that we all need. We are early in , but are seeing an amazing number of already. I wonder if the spike in migration is related to the in Canada = purely conjecture on my part, not even at hypothesis rank.

Shot with the f/8 T2, a very cheap and very long (in both senses) lens. It's not sharp. It's not fast. But it's 500mm without getting bankrupt.

It's not much, but the first shot of 2023. Just some geese coming in for a landing in the morning sun.

I just had to get out and make at least one picture. The Swans I was going for was just too far away and out of reach, but had a nice morning being out anyway.

24mm or 500mm in landscape photography?

I took the first shot with a 24mm lens. The second one as just a few minutes earlier from the same spot with 500mm. Impressive, isn't it?
