Family Album
A first thought for this week's motto was the photo album that probably every family has in one of their bookshelves. Memories of important events, everyday life, funny or sad things were recorded, sometimes supplemented by a few words. Often we took it from the shelf, leafed through it, and recalled these days that we didn't want to forget.

Light at Night
Luckily, the sky was clear enough last night. So I went to my spot in mind, set up my tripod, fiddled around and aligned everything - and all the while had the cute company of some cows who were very interested in my action. I could hear their breathing and puffing in the dark, so homey.

The Number
This week offered perfect conditions for the motto of the photo challenge: weather was fine, and so quite a lot of sailing boats took their cruise on the lake. The sail numbers were shining in the bright sun when the race field of the regatta made its path through the light blue water.

Take a Walk
Before I left for a walk, I turned around and saw our cat sitting at the window looking outside. I returned, let him out, and he did something he had never done before: he took me for a walk. It really touched my heart, and I had to laugh as he meowed whenever I waited for him while we did the whole 30-minute walk together.
