Mrs Mike has been doing some on-line training so I've been playing #amateurRadio - mostly on 60m (5MHz) & FT8 - good conditions here in IO92 for European signals.

Impressively I was heard in New Zealand (but no contact).

I could see central European stations working Vietnam & Hong Kong, but again, I heard nothing of them here.

I'll have another go when it's properly dark - it looks promising.

Where do you draw the line between "this picture is just blurry" and "artistic softness?" Beginners are often quite proud of blurry pictures and you don't want to discourage them but... eesh.

Objectively, this photo seems very much like those beginning, blurry photos but there's something I like about it and I feel the softness adds to the #mood.
