One of the flip-flop outputs of the A1 Scaler takes an entire day to change states - the AGC used the slower flip-flops as a 28 bit binary counter to measure time.

Once I got to 50 seconds per division in my oscilloscope it was taking forever, so I am using my Propeller 2 board to read the last/slowest 16 bits the same way the AGC would have, then I can log the data in a serial terminal for a day and watch it count upward from 0 to 65535.

I built a thing.

Time to feed it a square wave and see if I get many stages of divided down square waves out.

(There are 33 stages of clock division in the A1 Scaler, some of the signals it outputs pulse at a VERY slow rate).

A1 Scaler progress. Just decoupling caps and connector left.

I think I am going to make the caps 0805s for the rest of the modules.

74HC02s soldered onto the A1 Scaler board.

I have to stop so I can be a responsible adult and go to work tomorrow....yes the flux will get cleaned off when the board is done.

Hand soldering 603 package capacitors is annoying! May make them 805s for the rest of the boards, this one is a prototype to test construction as well.
