Well, crap. Lost my streak on 750 Words. Didn't write for two days! With the new Streak Fairy feature, I think I can make them up, but I believe that's two days of 1500 words each.

Eleven years in to it and I still really love the 750 Words site (new.750words.com). I've journaled approximately 87 billion words (like I said, approximately) using a computer over the last thirty years or so, and truly this site remains my favorite way to do it. They do a really beautiful job running that place. And I believe it's just two people! What a positive impact to have on people with such a small company.

I've have cheat-completed my #750words for a few days now...

Hey hey fans of 750 Words (new.750words.com), they now have invisible ink! You can't see what you're typing, but it's still there ('select all' reveals it). I just discovered this tonight (though I might be quite late to the party). I'm loving this! I use 750 to (among other things) write through difficult fibro or anxiety days, it really helps. The invisible ink is a neat feature, I hit 750 fast when I wasn't editing so much.

A joined a website where I keep a personal diary, they have a minimal requirement per day to write 750 words, it can be anything.

It doesn't need to be published to the public.

I was told today I have written 21k words in 8 days in my diary.

Shame I can't write that much when I am writing my novels!

When I write my novels I am celebrating if I write more than 7k in a week!

3000 words minimum, I say. Some would argue 5000. Most of my stories sit between those numbers.

The search for an actual nugget amidst the gold dust. A story that will not only excite the imagination but sustain that addictive dopamine rush.

750 words. I once wrote the perfect story, before I understood that limit. My story was 680 words and got rejected. I resubmitted it at 860 words. 750 would have been much better...
