About a week late, but I finally submitted my entry for the #7dfps #gamejam . I really like how this feels, but I'm not sure the core objective works - FPS targeting while flinging yourself around with a grappling hook is kind of a lot to manage. BUT I have some ideas on alternate objectives that are a bit less taxing.

@gamingonlinux Currently I'm working on an endless platformer that was originally for #7dfps but got a bit out of hand, but my main project is a horror game about monotony and social isolation
Well I'm definitely not going to meet the deadline for #7dfps, but I've enjoyed the project too much to rush something together last minute. I set a personal deadline of the end of the year and will just keep working on it until then, I'll keep posting updates as they go here and will hopefully have something playable by the new year!

Yesterday I put up a build of the game I've been making for the #7dfps and #procjam game jams! It still needs some work (I wanted to at least submit a 1-week build) but I think it's kinda fun to play. I'm planning to do a little more work on it this week to close out the year, but feel free to take a look if you're interested.

I've got a couple things left on my list I want to add/iron out, and I'm not sure I'll do it by the end of the jam, but I'm happy with what I've got for sure.

Today's task: writing the world's worst matchmaking server for my #7dfps entry!
Things got busy, and I've run out of time for my #7DFPS game. I got a key part of the game done (jumping between Arctic and Antarctic) but I don't have any more time to work on it. Maybe I'll pick it up again after Christmas.
My custom software rendering works somewhat. Realized I’m missing some triangles and UVs. Cool looking mistake though #7DFPS
