Laat time I checked people were working on #80211ac support, but the most advanced WiFi Chipset natively supported is still an #Atheros 9280 whoch only does #80211n dual-band.
So in terms of a portable #WiFi one might be better suited with #Linux-based distros like #ipFire...

Cuz they just work flawlessly on #Linux.
I'm not shure if #FreeBSD even got #80211ac support running.
Last time I checked they only supported the old #Atheros chips and could barely do dual-band #80211n.
In fact, the #WiFi chip on the #PS5 & #PS4 are dedicaded #SoC's that act like a USB 3.0-Ethernet Adapter and barely expose any managment interface.
