Following on from yesterday's post, here's another frame of Astro Charlie from Nodes of Yesod, this time in mid-somersault!
Again, credit to my daughters for the construction, Dad 'directed'. :)
It's on a 12" x 12" Lego baseplate using 1x1 node bricks. Will post some stills of the final items.

Back in the 80s, I was given instructions for typing in a chess program for the ABC80. It was 14 pages of mixed instructions and programs.
About half of it was 10 KB worth of machine code, stored as hexadecimal strings with no checksums. Much of the rest was programs to generate the final program from this.
With a 40x24 screen, and having to store everything to cassette tape, I guess it's not really surprising that I never did get it to work. 🙂
