Ugh, I've written myself into a Chekhov's Gun situation and I can't figure out who's going to fire and why/when/how!

In spite of the emotional challenge of today's scenes, this weekend turned out to be very productive, nearly 3k words today alone, split over 3 sessions. This is the first time I'm writing scenes of order, so it's been a little interesting to say the least!

Between Thanksgiving drama and a busy time at work playing catch up, I've not been writing quite as much as I planned the last couple weeks.

But I did polish and submit three short stories in the last 24 hours, so I'm counting that as a win.

Best practice for disappointment is to get right back on the bike. Dusted myself off, wrote another few thousand words of the second novel, a sort of Florence Nightingale x Mata Hari project. Managed to get my MC to her first real spy mission today! #AmWriting and even #AmRevising is so much better than #AmQuerying
