Well, thanks to a far-right “Right Side News” site, their rando “antifa list”, and the owner’s sucking up to RWE, there’s little reason left to even be on the $8chan app. I’ll keep a few alts for the research & API keys.

(crimethinc’s banned but the owner will boost literal ̶w̶h̶i̶t̶e̶ ̶s̶u̶p̶r̶e̶m̶a̶c̶i̶s̶t̶s̶ ̶ white nationalists like Ramsey Paul? I’m a big camel, but that’s pretty much my final straw.)

FFS, they’ve got Parler, Gab, Truth Social, Gettr, Stormfront, 4chan, 8kun, etc. (FFS, Twitter even admitted that they primarily platforms right wing propaganda)

But like Echo’s 7th & 8th characteristic of #ur-fascism, they’re not happy unless they’re “owning the enemy”, for years they kept being dramatic about leaving the twits, but kept coming back to the bird app to have someone to yell at instead of just themselves.

Yet, we’ll move on, like we did with 4chan…
and just like 4chan, they’ll eat each up and while working on how to “own” us elsewhere.
I appreciate the vibe here on #mastodon. But the federated nature of this place & other activity pub apps really makes me stoked to be here while they chew each other up and cry about no one wanting to deal with their interruptions, disinformation, and rubbish baby-cryin’ BS.
