One of the most listened to albums in my collection.
I went through about 4 CD copies of this in my youth, and I found the record in a dusty box on Vancouver Island with no price tag on it.
I ended up paying 20 bucks for it.
People STILL offer me ridiculous money for this on Discogs, and I’m shocked to see what their worth now.
This is still good for 2-3 spins a month for me.
“Believe” is STILL the jam.
A signature #90s anthem, baby!

Another #90s side hustle, but this time one of former #OMD members. Actually, this band was 100% OMD while OMD was 25% OMD. Does that make sense? No. But it's a funny thought. Brilliant cover, painted by the keyboardist Cooper. Smooth and warm melodies, in no way resembling their former band. This really is a forgotten gem. (I actually got sent this #CD by the drummer, how cool is that?)

1999 Taiwanese issue.

Electronic is my favourite #NewOrder side hustle and I have been enjoying this album more and more. It's danceable rock with some hip-hop influences. The album starts off with an incredible track, which captures your attention immediately. I went ahead and treated myself with a very rare Taiwanese version for my birthday this year and the Discogs seller was just the best!

I already “had” this, but it was absolutely unplayable. The audio discs were trashed from years of travel & car play, and from people borrowing it over the years.
A friend of mine spotted a pristine used copy, & thought it would make a good birthday gift for your old pal, here.

I robbed both of those companies blind, using MULTIPLE mailing addresses, & never spending more than the penny I taped to the order form. 😂
This album is so freaking good, & my absolute favorite by The Church.

#NowPlaying: #Revenge - One True Passion
1990 UK issue.

Deemed a mistake by #PeterHook of #NewOrder, who was the driving force behind Revenge. I don't think of it as such, there's some really good, danceable tracks on here, albeit a bit shallow at times. The sound is dark but the lyrics are sensitive at times. I love the consistent art style they had laid out for their releases, their troop of models called "Revenge girls". Check it out if you like New Order.

There are a handful of albums in my life that make me think of Fall. THIS is one of them, & this is the time of year I start hitting it hard, & it gets continuous spins through to the end of winter.

It’s such a wonderful atmospheric & elemental sounding album to me, from the wonderful “Mad As Snow”, to the swirling & head spinning “4 Men”.
A wonderful album thats been a lifelong love.

I bought this a looong time ago simply because it’s one of my all time favorite movies, and I love Adam Schlesinger.
None of my #45s are registered on Discogs, so once I found it, was shocked to see it goes for over $100 CAD.
