#99RanchMarket in Chandler sells a bakery item labeled “Japanese Flower.” It’s quite good, but I have turned up nada, zip, zilch trying to figure out what it is.

It tastes a bit like Japanese milk bread, but it has been shaped into sheets, and repeatedly folded like croissant or puff pastry. Then cut, swirled, and twisted into the flower petals, which makes them a bit crunchy.

@rbreich I'm #blessed to live in #Texas and have H-E-B #HEB - I use their #pharmacy, too, as #CVS kept having issues keeping my #HRT prescription filled.

(There's a #joke that the three branches of Texas government are H-E-B, #Buccees and #Whataburger)

However, the grocery stores in my #neighborhood are #Kroger (x2), H-E-B, #WholeFoods, #ElRanchoSupermercado #Walmart, and #Target

Of these, I shop HEB, and El Rancho and I leave my neighborhood for #99RanchMarket, #Costco, and #HMart
