This is a bit of a niche question I know, but can anyone recommend a good minimalist #x11 #windowmanager? For quite a while I've been happy with #twm, even though it's ancient and really just a reference implementation, but it only implements follow focus, which makes some applications fairly unusable (e.g. menus disappearing when you try to interact with them). Most recently this seems to have become the case with #firefox. I've just installed #9wm, which mostly seems to be the sort of thing I want, but it's very dependent on using button-3, which makes window manipulation with my laptop's trackpad quite awkward.
