I’d rather see them provide the minimum parking required and use the rest as green space. Especially as more asphalt means more of the heat island effect. #ABQDevelopment https://twitter.com/claystorm/status/1549540215886385217
I do like the rooftop hangout spaces. Parking feels a little gluttonous. They’re required (by current parking minimums) to provide 1.5 spaces per unit, so 327 spaces. But actually providing 359 spaces (which means they still have more parking then bedrooms). #ABQDevelopment (2/3) https://t.co/2QxaneNlT0 https://twitter.com/claystorm/status/1549540204591169536
As being reported by the Rio Rancho Observer and now the ABQJournal, two new developments are afoot in #RioRancho, both right in the immediate area of Presbyterian Rust Medical Center. (1/5) #ABQDevelopment #RRDevelopment #RioRanchoDevelopment

#ABQDevelopment: Looks like more apartments / multifamily housing is possibly heading to #JournalCenter. A now vacant bank branch at NE corner of Jefferson & Sun Ave would be demolished and replaced with a 3/4 story L-shaped building. This is very preliminary & from the 6/16 Environmental Planning Commission (EPC) meeting. It was for a zone change & was approved. (1/2)
