@roundy this is only possible because of the #aca giving medical autonomy to 12 year olds. If their parents insurance covers it, they get it. If their parents insurance does not cover it, they get Medicaid coverage.

And that’s because of the ACA and also these Blue NannyStates that require children in public schools to go to Doctors - pediatrician, dentist and optometrist- Kindergarten, Second, Fifth, Seventh and Tenth Grade - they *must* see all 3 and bring paperwork back to the school by the end of the first semester for that school year.

I try to buy from/work with people who are part of marginalised groups where possible. And ideally ethical/climate conscious. Though I'm not going to be a very big client so it's not going to make a massive difference.
