Grand is one of Oakland's most popular locations. It runs along gorgeous Lake Merritt and hosts so many wonderful local businesses

It is also a high injury multi-lane road where drivers speed past pedestrians in the crosswalk hitting one of our neighbors every month

Just heard a radio ad for #ACTransit offering a hiring bonus for experienced bus mechanics and operators.

Not aware of #SFMTA doing anything like this. Most #sfbayarea transit systems take bikes even during peak hours, though many have a maximum number of bikes.
Foldable bikes are often allowed even when bike storage is otherwise full
Transit I have most frequently used with bikes, with other frequently used

I heard that AC Transit likes morning casual carpool, because morning commute also handles schools
Afternoon school commutes are earlier than work commutes, so buses and operators can spread out, handling more riders in afternoon / evening than morning
