I'm quite fond of this #podcast, The Pantaloon Society. It's a droll, meandering tale about a secret club of magical clowns told with love by someone who knows the deep and often weird history of eir corner of the world and weaves it into the fiber of the show. Lou is a one-person production crew, doing (the majority of) the voices, in so many different accents it's impossible to keep track, as well as writing, editing, etc. And ey're a wonderful human being as well, though ey'd probably object to me saying that! 😉

I've been following @dragonshantypod show since launch, and interviewed their creators on The First Episode Of. It's a #fantasy bedtime story about pirates, bards, and dragons told with love and affection. They have been honing their craft as storytellers and remastered their first episode twice now. I have to say their latest work sounds great--original music, strong voice acting, and a solid, polished sound. More at dragonshanty.com

The Madness of Chartrulean ( @Chartrulean ) is made by another friend in the #AudioDrama space, H.M. Radcliff and just finished its 1st season. It's #epic #Scifi like Dune or Foundation with fantastic voice acting and sumptuous sound design. Well worth your ears: chartrulean.com

I checked out the just-launched #AudioDrama "Human-B-Gon" ( @humanbgon ) and totally recommend it. Imagine a reality show that follows a team of bickering exterminators, only the team is robots and the vermin are humans. It's a satire of reality shows that really nails the tone and rhythm of the genre and is loaded with puns. Effective sound design and strong voice acting.
