I'm still tinkering with the 'auto-generation' of #SkyVector URL's from L-Band 'FPN' (Flight plan) ACARS messages.
I saw this one come in and found it interesting in how I have not seen this sort of flight before.
Data via #ADSC from our UK satellite dish.

Quick update. Usual insane #ACARS day here. Working with a guy in Ireland on #VHF VDL2 #RTLSDR v3 message logging. Then helped a guy in Ireland about L-Band system handshakes.
Got to do a bunch building the #L-Band #Helix #antenna, but did not finish as a guy I have been helping in Maine get running on data from #Inmarsat #CBand needed some help.
Bottom line, close to a world-first here. #ADSC data from 54w.
We now truly have global coverage from all 4 satellites!

Here is a VIP flight in the air right now.
This was the backup aircraft for the #POTUS flight yesterday.
Its mostly empty today.
Note the signal source, #ADSC means its being tracked via #Inmarsat #satellite and because its east of Hawaii, that means the satellite dish in my backyard is doing the receiving/decoding of the flight data.

I don't run this visualization very often because it makes my browser RAM cry, but here is our ADSC coverage / flight tracking from the past 24 hours.

Not very flattering and that's why I am posting it.... testing a different LNB (Low Noise Block). It down converts the 3.6Ghz from #Inmarsat to around 1.5Ghz for the #SDR to decode the #ACARS messages and #ADSC position data. The latter of which end up on https://adsbexchange.com and millions of people (and scores of #osint folk) use and enjoy and have no clue such an ugly meat head like me makes it possible.
