🎼I'm so tired of being here...🎶
That I'm installing Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition on my tablet.
May the Gods forgive me for this sin.

I've just done some training on an #ADnD2e API for Roll 20.
I can see me needing more help - it was easy to get it wrong and apply changes to the wrong character.
Party are forced to fight first dire wolves then zombies on their way to the comfortingly named Black Blood Rock. On their arrival they are attacked by evil satyrs, who pull back as soon as one of their number is killed. Plus, the satyrs kill their prisoner so the party don't get to talk to him.
Next session they will find the scaldingly obvious note in the dead gnome's pocket, sending them to the hidden dungeon.
Some time before then, I have to write the next adventure.
Played #dnd5e yesterday.
The characters are noodling around the jungles of Chult in "Tomb of Annihilation", and we left them heading confidently in completely the wrong direction.
More next week.
Tonight we play #ADnD2e, my "Rome with Magic" game, where the characters are trying to find out what is threatening a remote village in north Italy. Not helped by the fact that they burned down the temple last time.
Good times.
Ran my homebrew #ADnD2e game set in "Rome".
Some progress - the characters found a creature dripping black ichor in a temple formerly of Zeus, so burned the temple down. As you do.
They are currently locking themselves in the inn for the night, preparatory to going into the forest to hunt for whatever evil is doing evil
Nobody went up a level, the only thing they fought was my favourite monster, a Gibbering Mouther.
I'm going to be running #dnd5e this evening for a group of friends. We're playing "Tomb of Annihilation" and they haven't got very far with it yet.
Tomorrow I'm going to be running #ADnD2e, a homebrew game I've been running since 2017 set in Ancient Rome.
Or rather "Ancient Rome" since my version of the Roman world has magic, elves, dwarves, dragons - all the usual #adnd things, but when deployed they made the players blink.
Repeat #introduction for those who haven't interacted with me before.
I'm a #geek, #socialist, cat lover, fan fiction writer and reader, #gamer, #atheist, #feminist, and #pro-choice.
I've been playing roleplaying games since 1980. As I'm now living in North West Wales (Gwynedd) I'm doing most of my rpgs through #Roll20.
I play #DnD5e, #ADnD2e and #CallofCthulhu. I GM all of them from time to time, but not all at the same time as that would be weird.

The second #DnD game I'm prepping is my "Rome with Magic" game that we play in #ADnD2e due to a bad choice of mine back in 2017.
I don't play that every week, we play around every five-six weeks meaning that I've more checking to do to work out where the heroes were when we left them last.
They'd just been attacked in an inn by a group of 'bandits' that aren't bandits but cultists in disguise. (Nobody from the game is on #mastodon or any other social site so I'm safe giving that away.)
Picture of us (my friends and I) playing TSR Battle System a few years ago.
If you've never heard of this, it's a way of playing large scale battles for #DnD, and was designed for #ADnD1e and #ADnD2e and uses little bits of card rather than figures.
We put the bits of card onto movement trays to enable us to move them around without dropping them all over the floor.
