AI is just cryptocurrency and blockchain stuff with a new coat.

Scams and unrealistic promises are inevitable. Practical usefulness will be lower than predicted. Bunch of white upper class assholes will get rich on buzzwords and PR stunts. No ethics will be involved whatsoever. Legislation won't catch up with technology for long time. Privatized gains, socialized loses. "Too big to fall" claims.

Interesting to think that some #AIHype technologists are having to simultaneously dismiss the arguments of linguists, sociologists, artists, ethicists, lawyers, etc. because they "don't know what they're talking about" while simultaneously arguing for the general applicability in expert fields of LLMs, which don't know what they're talking about on anything at all
