Anybody uses #dragonfly (https://www.dragonflydb.io/) in production? I just stumbled over it when I was researching on how to get #redis setup correctly in our #aks #kubernetes cluster. Ran some benchmarks and I'm impressed in how it delivers much higher throughout on the same hardware. My benchmark showed ~50k op/s for Redis Single Master compared to ~140k op/s for dragonfly. So if it delivers the same but faster, I would consider using it as drop-in replacement for Redis.

@dsyme ... and the sad part is that a consultancy like BCG allegedly said about our k8s cloud that we hadn't enough automated testing... hence that is atm what I'm working on... In Node JavaScript!!)))

Why do those consultancies speak even about IT?!? Why do my colleagues and the IT dept listen to them?!!

Hopefully this reaches some Azure/AKS nerds… is there any way to “pre-stage” an image from our ACR onto certain node pools? Have some web server pods in a HPA but initial image pull can take a while on fresh nodes, giving unsatisfactory results while waiting for the pods to scale. Hoping to pre-stage each time we upgrade node pools etc #azure #aks #hopingforsomehelp

@deepy wow are people really installing their mastodon servers through helm on k8s? 😎 I don't think so 😜 but just in case what auth should I have to really join and federate after I helm install it on say #GKE or #AKS?

When you're at a tech social event with a bunch of people from other companies who all use #EKS and they keep talking about #eksutil and #ECR, but you did #KubernetesTheHardWay with #terraform and you've never touched EKS in your life (or #GKE, or #AKS, or any other hosted #Kubernetes solution, for that matter 😅)
