For US states I suggest a variation on the Twitter convention using the Mastodon capitalization convention (for screen readers), e.g. #GAPol, #AKPol, #DCPol, etc.

Interesting about Alaska forming a bipartisan Senate majority of 9 Dems and 8 Repubs, even though 11/20 seats are held by Republicans.

A person best known for her lies and a lawsuit loss over the White House trying to silence the press is going to run for governor of Arkansas. I won't name her because the media at large is giving her enough free publicity as is.

Those also running are Greg Leding (D), Clarke Tucker (D), Davy Clark (I), and Jim Hendren (I), all previous state representative candidates for 2022.

Voters in Arkansas need to start doing their homework now and getting organized. The rest of us will need to help so watch for opportunities and posts. #Arkansas #AKpol
