Our sensory bias as diurnal creatures meant the ecological importance of darkness, increasingly usurped by #ALAN was long overlooked as an important field of study. Now, a vigorous field of research is making up for lost time, seeking solutions that minimize ecological harms.

@JohnBarentine Nice to see that clouds studies (and LP) go ahead. I still remember the words Of @skyglowberlin when I presented in #alan 2016 my PhD results about the importance and pioneering of that kind of studies. Later I contributed a bit to nice Andy papers on that topic. Night sky is not only important in clear moments. Go ahead to the limits of clouds darkening!
