@chucker @lrhodes of course would an #iPhone be a good fit, but I already have a History (around 10 Years as a User) with Products from #Apple and the short answer is, it doesn't worked for me at all.

MacOS is a wild Thing for me, politely speaking and don't get me starting on iOS and iPadOs and however everything else is named.

I like to have a #Smartphone with at least a 4000mAh Battery & 6" Display & DualSlot & if possible an #AMOLED because I like it. 😁

@Peggy anstatt meines Tablet #GalaxyTab von #Samsung in der Variante #S7Plus für 719€ könnte ich auch das quasi baugleiche ohne Plus oder die FE Variante nutzen, welche alle samt nur halb so teuer wären, ganz gleich ob damals oder aktuell im Vergleich. 😉

Nur ich bevorzuge nun einmal #AMOLED gegenüber #IPS und zudem ist so Sensor unter dem Glas für den #Fingerabdruck eine sehr angenehme Erfindung. Nicht zu vergessen die 4 Lautsprecher für guten Klang in #Stereo. 😀

Die aktuellste #Neuverfilmung von #DUNE angeschaut, bei einem Freund, auf einen #4K #AMOLED Fernseher mit #65Zoll und ordentlicher Sound-Anlage anbei. 😁

Bildgewaltig, Atmosphärisch, Wunderbar, diese neue Version des #Klassiker namens DUNE - Der Wüstenplanet. 🤩

Ein paar Parallelen hat diese Verfilmung zu jener von einst in der Uwe Ochsenknecht mitspielte. 😉

Don't forget the benefits of 100% #black on #AMOLED displays, though, in terms of battery savings.

This is one of the (many) reasons we strongly dislike versions of #Android past 4.4 (#kitkat).

We think #KitKat is by far the best #AndroidOS. Black notifications screen for #energySavings on #AMOLED screens, looks great on tiny displays, no fingerprint drivers.

How about we just update what still works :)

Knowing #Google they will probably want to update it with fresh malware and crapware though.

#Openboard is a nice #keyboard for #Android, but for those who want #swipe (or #gesture) based typing then we must recommend #AnySoftKeyboard.

They say their #swipeFunctionality is in beta but we say it trumps the stock keyboard. No more "pulsar" when swiping "#population"!

We're really digging the #batterySaving #AMOLED black theme, too.

However, we're not fans of the little purple squiggle in the bottom-right when swipe is activated, using screen space for no apparent reason.
