Today we played intensively Pirates by Sid Meier from 1987 on the #AmstradCPC. Still a very fascinating #game and it's where #gaming was hitting real life. I told my son:

"Now you have to find your sister."
"No. WHY?! It only will get loud around here."
"But you will also get a part of a treasure map then."
"Ok, let's go and find my sister!"

Für den +2A kann ich Dir ganz definitiv sagen, dass es ihn in Deutschland zu kaufen gab. Ein Freund von mir hat diesen seinerzeit im Supermarkt (BLV, später Meister, noch später Metro) erworben. Das war ein Bundle mit 100 Spielen auf Kassette. Hat er heute noch und ich glaube seinerzeit damit den Gummi-Speccy ersetzt. Das war der Moment in dem wir dann beide #Amstrad-User waren. Mehr oder weniger... 😄

If you want to take a look back on your routes you should consider playing Pinball Dreams (released in 2019) on a #Amstrad #CPC. Epic on #Amiga and also on the CPC.

Not really sure what was wrong with the turf when #SCFreiburg played against #VfLWolfsburg today. :-) In any case, this match in CPC Soccer 2022 ended with a 2:0 victory for #Freiburg.

Even though there are still a few minor glitches (shooting diagonal) and the comparison with #SensibleSoccer seems a bit far-fetched, the game is probably rightly considered the best #football game on the #AmstradCPC.

Der Weihnachtscountdown läuft... Und was wäre #Weihnachten ohne Zocken?! Wir haben natürlich unsere Klassiker wie Winter und Summer Games, Dynablasters bzw. Clones oder Mario Kart. Vielleicht habt ihr da draußen (gerne boosten 😀) aber noch ein paar Ideen für uns ... Multiplayer, mit kurzer "Einarbeitungszeit". System ziemlich egal (Hauptsache älter als 20 Jahre), was nicht im Original vorhanden ist, wird mit #Recalbox emuliert.

Race day! Started with Super Sprint on the #Amstrad #CPC, continued with Micro Machines on #SNES (#Recalbox on #Raspberry in this case), #HotWheels after and later combined it with #Lego.

Micro Machines is such a great game. Lovely #pixelart and great fun in multiplayer mode.

Just trained for next weekend. You don‘t have to zwift, a round of Milk Race will also do. The game was released in 1987 by #Mastertronic on #AMSTRAD #CPC, #c64, #Atari, #MSX and #ZXSpectrum. Very solid budget title.

Many years later H.E.R.O. was also released for #AMSTRAD #CPC. Conversion by Flynn, must have been around 2005. He did a very good job! Oh, and this was almost 20 years ago?! Junge, wie die Zeit vergeht…
