Women in Economics community. I thought the networking meetup was terrific, and the future of women economists in public policy is bright.

Recent work highlight: Linking #landlords to uncover #ownership obscurity. Using #property records and corporation records in Boston, I show how to use text linking methods to uncover obscurity caused by both messy data and intentional ownership obscurity - when landlords use multiple LLCs - and show how this uncovers new scales of consolidation and responsibility for #evictions and property conditions.

I'm sorry to be missing #APPAM2022 #2022APPAM. It is my first and favorite conference because it (and #JPAM) are distinctive places that feature high-quality social-science research that can also center public-policy relevance as a motivation—without apology.

Trying to read the 4 papers I'm discussing at #APPAM this week and can't get myself to do it.
