We just finished a play-through of A Plague Tale: Requiem, which had a stunning soundtrack that melded early music with new music. Turns out the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir performed the score, a group otherwise known for Arvo Pärt’s music. I started a diary of games I play, thought about sharing it here too. It is kinda my review of it, too.

A Plague Tale: Requiem took me about 26h to finish, as I took some time to appreciate the vistas and did quite some tinkering with its settings.

I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, but if you tell me you’re interested and ask if I think you should play it, then yeah, very likely.

Ooof. Finished #APlagueTaleRequiem. Such a disappointment. Really liked the first game, but this was just pretentious wank.

I just accidentally booted the #PS5 and noticed it started downloading a patch for #APlagueTaleRequiem.

A big patch by the looks of it too, a few gigabytes of data. Version 1.004.000 (or would that be 1.4?)

I can't find any online information about this update.

OMG #APlagueTaleRequiem finally finished it.

It did seem more buggy than part 1, "Innocence":

- got respawned to a checkpoint where I was immediately killed by rats

- an animation scene that never played because the character that was supposed to help open the door never arrived so people where just standing in front of a door doing nothing

- got stuck inside a rock (I basically collided through it and got stuck but after mashing buttons I got out again)

Still a great game. 4 of 5 stars.
