When the books had been released, I was a huge fan of #ASongofIceandFire / #ASoIaF.
Finally, some "mature" fantasy beyond silly dark overlords and tedious journeys with an almighty magic item (aka a #ringofpower). Lots of Shakespeare vibes...
Back then, I thought this series is unfilmable. I was wrong! The first seasons were pretty intriguing.
Sadly, the #GoT show got of the rails. The bleak ending was expectable (and "good"), the rushed episodes were not so great!
