is upon us! I've been looking out the Fenster for this the whole week!
Today an oldy, as you probably can see from the resolution and noise (made with the D70) of a train window. This was made near a long time ago.

Windows you would be looking out from on other places, going somewhere or just enjoy landscapes. Not out of this one anymore though.

This picture goes back to the in , . The Chinese pavilion is a very rustic scene. One would become instant zen here.

goes on. Today, I might have posted this before by the way, I bring a bridge from a local canal in . A night mode picture of a heritage wooden drawbridge. I'm not sure if it still works, but I guess so because there are big boats in the canal.

This Sunday was probably not the most ever. A quiet start of the New Year though, here in . I'm so glad I live here and not in the likes of busy places.

The photo maybe is a metaphor, a new beginning, light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm trying to find the picture I like best for the last year, but I'm having great difficulties with that. I made some, in my opinion, very nice sunset shots, but als other stuff, nature and architecture. For the time being I give you this common house sparrow. I somehow managed to make a pretty focussed pictured but also captured the moving water of it's bath.

I've been meaning to post these pictures of a tiny church in , . The wonder of this church are its very modern stained glass, but the church itself is really old. Somehow the original windows were destroyed and a local artist made alternatives in a very modern style. They do seem to fit quite well. I think this is architecture on a high level.

Another one of my favourite bridges, the old IJsselbrug. Put over the river IJssel it still serves much traffic to this day and it looks absolutely stunning in the low light with it's very typical industrial design.
