I am quite fed up of a system that puts all the onus on the disabled to educate people about ableism, on the non-white to educate people about racism, and on women (incl. trans) to educate people about misogyny.

Yesterday we went to see In the Woods. We had never seen the movie. The youngest saw the poster when we went to see Sound of Music. This play was horrid. There were at least six times blindness was the punishment and the blind were offered as sacrifice. We have an SE 20 through Apple. It went through some update, and now the microphone is not working correctly. This phone is very important to a visually impaired person and now the update has made it difficult for a visually impaired person to conduct his business on his phone. Some thing that those of us with vision can do on our iPhones all the time. If any of these nonprofits actually cared about #inclusivity and #diversity as much as they say, they would also pay attention to #abelism. They'd be taking steps to try to protect their vulnerable employees from #covid. But if course those nice words have always been a veneer for #exploitation. The only way any of us are getting out of this mess is through workplace #solidarity and union organizing and an intersection along left that fights abelism

So that workplace meeting I was told would be hybrid? It's now in-person only because "it's too hard" to be hybrid and "we need whiteboards." It's the fucking 21st century! I am livid!
