Finally finished work for the year today and decided last minute to go for dinner at Sushi House in Abergavenny, which opened a few weeks back.

This time (our third visit) we ordered unagidon (eel in sweet-savoury unagi sauce on rice), chirashi don (mixed sashimi on sushi rice), duck sushi roll with crispy onions, chicken gyoza and prawn tempura.

Everything excellent, and a lovely way to celebrate finishing work!

@freemin7 actually we seem to have a pretty good set in #Abergavenny, surprisingly.

It's very much autumn rather than winter in our neck of the woods. Grass in nearby fields and our garden is lush green. Foliage is lime green, yellow, orange and burnished brown. When the sun shines through, it's simply glorious!

I have not used my bicycle since before we moved house, but we are clearing out the outhouse here (in new house) and finally got as far as my bike.
Yay, I may consider #cycling around #Abergavenny again.
But my bike has a lock (built in), and I need the key. Well, when we moved it was on my key ring, but not now?
I walking in to my office, put my hand on the shelf high up and, oh, what's this?, a key, the right key (actually the original spare).

I have to wonder what early man must have made of a #rainbow. I mean it does not generally actually do anything useful for you - maybe telling you there is rain that way, but you can usually see that too. It is not too good at foretelling something. They must have imagined magic, or signals from a deity, but to what end? It tells you the order of the colours in a spectrum, but I imagine that was not too useful back then. Was it a muse to some? An inspiration?
