Das klingt auch interessant. Hat jemand Erfahrung damit? Eigentlich will ich nicht einen weiteren Verbraucher durchlaufen lassen, aber bei der Nutzung von mehreren Endgeräten scheint mir das bequem zu sein.

😳 I just hopped over to the ‘federated’ feed (I usually stick to home and local). I’m not a sensitive soul but there’s some nasty stuff there. I still use #Twitter. I never got many ads because I use #Adblocker and I never got fed algorithms because I stay on ‘latest tweets’ as opposed to ‘home’. Don’t think I’ll be visiting #federated again 😬. I know the options of block or mute but it would be tedious on the rapid federated feed. Does anyone use it? May I ask why? Cheers.

There are ads on #Twitter? #AdBlocker. Also, to only see #tweets from followed folk, click on little stars upper right and ensure you are on latest tweets, not home feed. #twittertips. I don’t like #musk but I don’t find Twitter as frustrating or annoying as many others seem to….I never see nastiness or rants because the people I follow #science #dogs #nature #photography #landscape #offgrid #flowers #art are lovely.

It's so refreshing to have more control over content when using #Mastodon. No #adblocker needed, less noise in general. I remember when I was a kid without a computer. When my family was asleep, I would secretly turn on my dad's laptop to figure out how to get on the internet via a modem and AOL. That resulted in a hefty phone bill, but it was priceless to me because this place was full of magical niches. The #Fediverse reminds me of that time of discovery.
