Adderall can (and does) cause changes to periods when you first start taking it. Heavier, earlier, more painful and/or irregular periods can happen. If you already have #PMDD on top of #ADHD and/or #Autism and experience #MenstrualCycles just be prepared. I was about to leave for the emergency room when I looked this up and realized what it was.

To be clear, dopamine levels and pain have links that I'm not clear enough on to explain.

I think the Adderall has improved my well-being enough, even after it wears off, that she no longer feels the need to constantly be ready to alert, so she's decided to stay up late with my partner instead.

I started an SSRI months before Adderall that did not trigger the same changes.

First day on Adderall (extended release FWIW) and holy crap everything is so boring!

But it legitimately kicked in within 10 minutes of taking it, which I was not entirely prepared for, and that's with having just eaten a snack immediately before.

I'm going to have to just accept the reality that #Concerta doesn't work particularly well for me. Why is that so hard to acknowledge? Now I need to decide whether to go back to #Adderall which at least kind of works, or keep trying to find something better. Anything but Vyvanse or wellbutrin. I'm getting pretty damn tired of having to finagle access to #ADHDMeds, and it seems increasingly likely the shortage is a manufactured one.
