I don't love #Lua. It's the only way I know of to script #Adobe #Lightroom (LR is basically a DB that's applied to an external store of photos, so to manipulate it, you need a library). I wish there was an alternative.

I was casually updating the software I rent from them, then saw that I don't have access to #LightroomClassic anymore regardless of it actually being part of my subscription. Now they offer me to try it.

I've also been paying for Lightroom/PS for the past year because they're the best tools out there for the job and I've been unwilling to cancel my subscription because I "might want to edit some photos sometime".

Subscriptions suck. You're welcome for all the free money, #Adobe.

There’s a MAJOR bug that causes issues if relink your media. Like it breaks the entire timeline and project file.

I linked to a few “fixes” which are honestly silly.

Adobe, you never learn. All we ask for is a stable editing software.

If you want to add “cool and new” features, fine. But please make sure your existing software works and has been tested thoroughly.

I was playing around a bit with the new #Adobe #Photoshop beta this past weekend. It has the new AI Generative fill feature which basically lets you describe what you want, and then add and remove from the photo.

I am assuming they are using my #Photography to train the model. And that they'll use my photo to add things to other peoples photos.

This stuff is moving way too fast. Are they using my photo to train the model with the new #Lightroom denoise feature too? Probably.
