It's a blend of the old Fighting Fantasy mechanics, using D20 instead of D6 with a world that this gritty in a similar style to Warhammer FRPG.
A true love-letter to the #BritishOldSchool and well worth a play if you want something very different from #DnD inspired games.

I'm thinking +1 to LUCK, +1 to Forest Lore and Stealth Special Skills (based on Halflings being good scouts and burglars) as well as +4 to Common Speech. This is rounded off with the Lucky Talent.
I think it works. Maybe. We'll see.
