@tomcapuder The whole heaven/hell afterlife is ridiculous anyway. Any eternity would eventually slide into boring monotony, no matter how nice or nasty. Pain would be irrelevant as you need a nervous system to experience pain. Also, an infinite judgement based on a finite crime would be unjust. These are just the start: spend any time thinking about an afterlife and pretty quickly it will look stupid. #atheist #heaven #afterlife

I started watching "Upload" on #Prime. The show is #comedy #scifi, and it deals with uploading the #consciousness into a digital #afterlife.

Surprised me was how similar was to the various #NDE reports (Near Death Experience). How different people could see different versions of the same thing depending on their beliefs. Or how their "angels" can be invisible or have power over them. Textbook NDE.

Makes you wonder if our afterlife is indeed the VR of a higher dimensional advanced civilization.

Cette nuit, j'ai donc fini de regarder #AfterLife, la série comico-dramatique de #RickyGervais sur #Netflix et je dois dire que c'est un petit bijou à la fois d'humour, d'humanité, de tendresse et d'émotion. Sans doute l'un de mes meilleurs moments de télévision des dernières années. Cette série fait un bien fou. Un peu comme arriver sur Mastodon et se dire à soi-même "mais si, tu vois, y'a des gens bien, en fait..."

Si vous n'avez pas vu After Life, foncez.

Ah et sinon, la série After Life, de #RickyGervais , j'en suis à l'épisode 5, et c'est juste merveilleux d'humanité. Il me fait penser à Ari Mackenzie si je l'avais mieux réussi. Je suis totalement bluffé par ce mec et son écriture.
