Well, I seem to look them up, those movies that hit you hard emotionally and leave a crushing impression, at least on me. Today I saw 'Aftersun' and despite a concealing ending, possible meanings and reality slowly entered my mind in the hours that follow. I might need and definitely want to watch it again.

In 2023 I’m really trying to get back into enjoying and engrossing myself in films. So far this year started off so well with #Corsage, #Aftersun and The National Health. Tomorrow I’m intending to catch #Enysmen and #Tar. Home viewing has also been strong with Bhaji on the Beach c/o #Mubi and I’m going to finally get my 4K tv set up in February. I’m quietly confident I might finally start to enjoy my main hobby again after a 2 year blip..
