We grow a green cover crop over the winter in all our fields where we grow the malting barley for the brewery.

The crop in the White Field is doing its job. Even after all the rain over the last few weeks, it's still pretty dry on top and soaking up lots of nutrients that we can recycle into next year's barley crop.
