Been enjoying the heck out of #AgainstTheStorm from @EremiteGames - honestly check it out if you've been sleeping on it. Due to a major update they had to "end" the map I was in the middle of (but I still got the reward), which was good news for me as I'd royally messed up!

I’ve been really excited about playing #AgainstTheStorm, a rougelike city-builder.

It’s good enough that I’ve braved the not-infrequent crashes playing it via CrossOver on my M1 MacBook, and am eying a SteamDeck to run it smoothly.

If you, like me, only enjoy the first 1–2 hours of SimCity or Civ, this is a game you should look at.

I’ve been playing #AgainstTheStorm this pst week and 🤩! Tremendously surprised! The mix of city building with rogue like works very well! The amount of content is incredible and the art is beautiful to look at, it makes you want to build a new town again and again!

I must say, the game is really good. It has all the good stuff of a City builder (building a settlement from scratch, while gradually getting new stuff to build) without the tedious late-game experience, most City builders provide (constant expanding and tweaking your City layout).
You only build your settlement until you finished enough of the Qeens orders and then move on to the next.

🕹️ Been playing some #AgainstTheStorm as of late and I have to say it' s a fantastic little indie game.
Once I started to unlock more in the game and increase difficulty, the rather relaxed game turned into a real nail biter that keep pulling me in over and over. Roguelike fantasy city builder I definitely can recommend. 🙂
