@bbak the original #AgileManifesto was all about humans, but since unregulated #capitalism destroys it’s own foundation, we are at the point where we are today.

You ask why I make it personal? Because I suffered a lot under people who with good will and a theoretical reality distortion field thought that their way to define how to work had a positive impact on the people around them.

The "certified" #agile BS is a creativity killer.

1. How come you assume I assume the discussions were fruitful?
2. It was clear that an agile coach will disagree.
3. Experience is simply a function of time.
4. My statement about requirements is the result of experience. It is not debatable for me. So do not waste time to convince me otherwise.
5. #scrum is not #agile, but its death.

After 25 years of intensive debate about how to design the #Software Development Process I come to the conclusion that only two things matter:

1. Education
2. Clarity about requirements
3. Love

Estimation is a complicated and challenging exercise.

Especially when we do this around quarterly planning using T-Shirt sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL etc.

We call it 'estimation', but it is mostly prediction!

This exercise needs subject matter experts for sure -- but they also provide their prediction, and that works very well in decision-making for people in decision-making roles.

@dermojo I think that the greediness of #capitalism was the choke point for #agile. Any gain through more efficiency led to more pressure and in the end the system collapsed to #Scrum aka feigning process.

@kironbondale Agree. I always advise for #scrum sprint starting/ending on Wednesday. And follow this schedule in the teams I work since I have been working in #agile

No regular team meetings on Friday is a very good idea for well adopted self managing teams.
