My mother's original flight (supposedly at 630pm today) was canceled a week ago. But we were able to reschedule her flight to an earlier time, which was supposedly at 3pm today.

They were able to take off. But 15 mins after, the plane turned back due to technical problems. 😱

And now they're still stuck at the airport.

Appreciate the pilot for turning back early on. But that's strike 2. What is happening #CebuPacific? 😕

I wish #Sully's Op-Ed went further. His point is that fewer hours and sim time do not provide the real-world experience needed for the airlines. Ideally, pilots would get their 1500 hrs in various ways and have the broad experiences he advocates. Sadly, I see pilots building hours, not experience, through repeating the same flights over and over.

Only a definition of what is expected in the 1500 hrs would lead to varied experience

1. @ForeFlight ports the Taxi Routing feature from #ForeFlight over to FliteDeck Pro. Help crews more easily maintain SA for complicated taxi instructions on airport surfaces.

The fact that this wasn’t done long ago is bonkers.

This server didn't exist when I got permission from my IRB to recruit my #PHD #survey, so I can only promote here if I take on more paperwork.

But I can ask for advice... how would you get the attention of #Airline #Pilots in the US when trying to find survey participants? I'm doing FB, LI, and TW. I can't work with the airlines directly. I'm continuing to try and get posts in their union communications, but only one has followed through.
