Okay #AlaskaMastodon users - Server maintenance happening tonight to install a new, larger system drive for all the data y'all are chewing up!

Server will be taken offline about 9:30pm tonight, should be back up within an hour, depending on how long it takes to migrate all the data once the new datastore is recognized by the OS. (stupid ESXi limitations)

I know you can't see it, but the "publish" button got a makeover tonight.

If you're on the app, you won't see anything different, but if you log into the webpage on a desktop browser...

that's right, i've enabled local translation of a few languages. Obviously we can't translate everything, but some is better than none!

it make take a second or two for the translations to work, so please be patient with them.

IT'S FIXED!!

Well, at least it appears to be fixed!

Nothing like proxying web traffic between hosts, and not having the websockets proxying.

SO- figured out what needed to happen to get the websockets to work to allow the streaming updates...

...and now things will look A LOT LIVELIER over here.

(that and the cacheing issue)

Sorry for the trouble - it's all a learning curve!
