Did you know that there are (at least) two major official variants of #Norwegian? This has historically been been very controversial. When I was in #Alesund for work it was very interesting to work out which flavour my colleagues favoured. Districts usually declare for either #Nynorsk or #Bokmål (or neutral).
In my head it breaks down into urban Danish-rule influenced (Bokmal) vs rural (Nynorsk) but I'm sure it's more complicated than that!
