@md @exador23 You’ve nicely summarised my main point: that different people will have different needs and desires, and we need to offer a spectrum of practical climate change mitigating options to cover that variety of circumstances. “Just use public transit” (or whatever) is perfectly fine advice for some, and hopelessly impractical for others. Hence, #AllTheThings.

My story: I traded a ~15yo Subaru for a Chevy Bolt and an e-bike, and one or either of those satisfy basically all my needs. I fully expect to swap the Bolt for an e-scooter (like an electric Vespa type thing) in a year or two when my last kid leaves home, and simply rent a car when I need one (for road trips or whatever).

I’m a huge believer in e-bikes, e-scooters, e-skateboards and similar such conveyances in urban cores and many suburbs, but I’m also nowhere near naive enough to think that they’re a practical solution in all areas (especially rural areas). #AllTheThings

@blackwingedheaven That first #SavageRifts Kickstarter is what motivated me to build a new local game group again. Which then motivated me to find a local con which got me back into the gaming community and gave me the confidence to apply for a license to publish my own stuff.

In the last several years, I was able to run some Rifts campaigns that I had been wanting to since OG Rifts but never had because I had lost interest in the Palladium mechanics.

Now, I just Savage #AllTheThings! 🤘
