Tonight I began to consider the Shape all this Work would take. As a "Zine" (or several) I see each "module" having a similar Form, and made of similar Parts, but each serving a different purpose.

In time, I'll have a better graphic for my Comrades to help me visualize this, but it also helps me prioritize and compartmentalize the development.

Today in silly UNIX tricks... I just mounted my Synology NAS with NFS from DIGITAL UNIX 4.0E a 24 year old operating system. Gotta love protocols that stand the test of time and that's even possible.

Good news and bad news. I did get DIGITAL UNIX installed. Bad news is it seems as though 4.0E which was the last true Digital version doesn't support the Matrox Millennium card. There is some indication that Tru64 might. So I can either try that or get a Mach64 card which is supposedly supported according to on the docs. 🤔

Update on the project the RZ29B (aka Seagate Barracuda) spun right up like the jet turbine it is! They don't make them like this anymore kids and absolute beast!

Thanks to an old monitor I found over break I was able to post the Personal Workstation 500a I picked up. Good news is the video and RAM seem to be good and things post. Unfortunately I'm struggling to get the SCSI adapter to see the drive I have. A common issue then made harder to troubleshoot with the passage of time. Still hopeful I'll get there though.
