Milkweed are back & still not sounding like anyone else. Here a (borderline too) distressed lo-fi hip hop aesthetic is the glue that somehow manages to bind the raw hypnotic quality of proto-blues field songs with medieval folk & ancient nordic legend - inspired by ancient Danish burial mounds; to mesmerising, esoteric, plunderphonic effect. Like everyone I'm sure Alan Davidson has problems, but with over a hundred LPs to his name writer's block isn't one of them.
