I’m Luke. I enjoy experimenting with radio and electronics. Mostly active at the moment on satellites and activating/hunting POTA. Recently got interested in VHF grid chasing and went from 1 confirmed grid to VUCC on 6m in right at 30 days. Now working to get satellite VUCC. Happy Birthday!

A2: So to preface this, my wife's fafher was a TV broadcast engineer for many years and had his FCC commercial license, designed/built transmitter towers and broadcast control rooms for a local TV station. He died about 4-5 years ago or so.

When I got into #amateurradio, she expressed some interest, as it reminded her of her late father.

So I got her everyone's favorite starter radio, a Baofeng...
